Throughout this year my best friend Jesus and I have been making each other mixes, sharing our favorite artists and pushing ourselves creatively. This has given me the chance to play around with forms of art that I don't normally try; growing my knowledge of graphic design and photography while making the covers, becoming sensitive to thematic elements between different songs that resonate together, and representing emotional states of mind with a combination of music and visual art have all been benefits of this artistic practice. Although they may not be as refined as my personal photographic work, I'm very proud of the mixes I've made, and I think they provide another important element to my concept of the Ordered World, a more direct insight into how my work makes me feel and helps me address emotional issues that I encounter!
