In the fall of 2016 I began my studies at Andrews University, majoring in photography. However, I did not yet have an idea of the area I'd like to specialize in, and consequentially I produced a variety of photos with no clear vision or purpose, other than to practice technique and help me grow as a photographer. As time went on I started to see the path I wanted to take, as out of everything I had tried, landscape and street-ish photography appealed to me the most. I did not yet have true intention as I shot, however, and so this set of images, although well-composed and colorful, do not speak to me the way my later photos do. But I still find these photos worth sharing, as they remain a step in my growth, and contain elements of my vision that I have since developed further in my current work.
