Ever since I was a kid I have enjoyed playing with, building, and collecting Legos. For some reason I was bullied for this interest in elementary school, and as I have grown older I have at times tried to find reasons to justify my passion for this toy. For a while, this justification was photographing Legos; using these little plastic people to tell fun narratives was a great way to make my interest relatable to others. Even now, although I am not ashamed of my hobby, I find it fascinating the way I can use story, color, and composition to create a photo that might make someone smile.
